Watercolor painting of a Yantra by Richard Lee
on paper made in England
In an excerpt from a letter dated September 3, 1993,
Richard writes: "...I am...sending you a copy of some of
my recent work. It was done on a color copier at Kinko's.
There is some loss of color quality and the paper they have
to use is icky. Or I think it is. Fake silky smooth. Yuck!
Even so, that a color copy can be made at all--and in just
a couple of minutes--is truly incredible. Or it is to me up here
among rocks, sand, and pine tree. The originals are on
handmade papers. Spain. England. Etc...."

Yantra Richard sent with this letter.]
