El Dorado Park
excerpt from a letter dated December 11, 1982
...School--classes--will soon be over.
Now people are doing their presentations
at the end of the semester.
They are always so fascinating.
Never know what to expect.
...today it is Saturday....
It is mildly sunny, and I have just
returned from my morning's run
through El Dorado Park.
They are setting up Santa's Village.
And there I was, running through
the Pony Track area, pushing aside
balloons, confetti, hot dogs
and mustard. Panting, happy
to be running along a lakeshore,
under trees, kicking leaves.
I feel great! absolutely great....
