Travels

excerpt from a letter postmarked December 19, 1984

...(I have been in Europe a couple of times now. The first time we [Savya and I] spent a year there camping in a VW [Volkswagen]. The second time a half year camping. Then three times in India. But that you know about.)

The semester is almost over again. Then Spring and freedom for eight months or so. Not freedom really. I have to work hard to know how to spend my time that someone else is not spending for me. Another shaman workshop at Esalen. Maybe time in Oregon. Maybe Peru. Maybe one last pilgrimage to India....
