Cold Harbor Battlefield

The Battle of Cold Harbor was fought June 1 to 12, 1864, under the command of Union Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant and Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The Union army suffered a great loss during this engagement, with 1905 killed and 10,570 wounded, compared to the Confederates loss of 1200 killed and wounded.

Cold Harbor Battlefield is a part of Richmond National Battlefield Park in Virginia, established on March 2, 1936.
